Hi Scotty ! I am from Europe, I have since new, a german made, 5-door 2018 VW Golf GTD, 6 speed manual, 25000 miles, and I am looking for a relatively new and affordable sports car. Should I sell it, add another 6000 dollars and buy a manual 2017 Nissan 370z with 13000 miles, one owner, for 30k, or keep it ? . In my country, diesel fuel is much cheaper than gasoline and large engines are heavily taxed, but I really like the car. Thank you !

In this instance, I’d recommend you hold on to the Golf. You’re the original owner, it’s very low mileage & you’re in Europe where parts are cheap & VW mechanics are plentiful. Plus VAG diesels are extremely robust and can last a long time with a manual transmission.

You can modify it to your hearts content, rather than buying another (more expensive) vehicle, which you don’t know the history of.
