Dear Scotty,
Greetings from Malaysia.
I got a new VW Tiguan Allspace 1.4TSI last Oct 2021.
The brake light was on at about 20K KM last Sep 2022. I send it to the authorized dealership, and they checked and informed me the front brake pad was worn out and had to replace. I have to pay a little fortune for the pad replacement.
I am driving average and hardly do hard braking. Can I claim a warranty from the dealership? any law protecting consumers like us?
what is the brake pad manufacturing assurance to users?
Regards,
Kho

Unfortunately brake pads are not warrantied as they are aware item and I'll just say you slam your brakes on more. I wouldn't have thought of Volkswagen the first place. I don't like them and their dealers are assholes
