Hi, I just bought a used 2013 Toyota Camry SE with 80k miles on it for $15,500 from Carvana. It supposedly has a clean history and passed Carvana's 150 point inspection. It also has a 7 day trial period after I receive it and a 100 day warranty. I also realize I bought it at a time when the used car market is super inflated but I needed it. I wanted to know, was this purchase reasonable or terrible for the price I paid considering all of those things? I think I maybe paid a bit too much but I wanted to get your thoughts. Cheers!
Note: It has the SoftEx trimmed seats, a spoiler, it's white, and it has only a tiny amount of scratches or anything
Get it inspected by a professional mechanic ASAP & have them pay close attention to the transmission. If you/they spot ANY red flags, return it immediately.
Never trust the 150-1000 point inspection of used car sellers.
The market is crazy so the price will never be fair.
All the best!
Thank you for the advice! I already scheduled an inspection at the local Toyota dealership. I'll specify that I want them to pay close attention to the transmission.
