Hey
So recently bought a mustang 2012 and when i start and accelerate i can hear a slushing of water sound after the engine reaches that optimum temperature it doesnt happen only during the start. I feel its air in the cooling system if so how do i get that out in the easiest way possible pls.
Another source of sloshing sounds can be water accumulation in the HVAC system due to clogged drains. (I've had that happen on my own car.)
the air should works its way out of the system by itself, so it's weird that it doesn't.
use a repair manual, or search the web to see if it has any burp valves (don't see those much any more, though).
You could try running the car nose up on a steep incline. The air will hopefully gather under the rad cap.
I dont think it does im not sure but i did a flush and refilled it and it works perfect now thanks.
It was something with the coolant i checked i did a flush and did a cold start it fixed cheers for the help
That year Mustang should not have any sloshing sounds. If that is what you hear, you likely do have some debris blocking your drainage in the HVAC system.
