Why not use RAINEX rather than NUFINISH?

Just use a ceramic booster spray coat for the windshield and windows. It lasts way longer than wax, and the hydrophobic properties are insane.

Which specific product do you use? I might have to try it.

@daywalker
I use Adam's polishes ceramic booster spray since I already have a ceramic coating on the car, but I do use it on my windows as well. It's infused with 15% SIO2 I believe. They have many many ceramic products to choose from, including a wax version.

Thank you. I will have to try that sometime. Always looking to try new stuff - especially if it makes my life easier.

Doesn’t hurt but won’t last as long as the wax.

I use Rainex on my motorcycle helmet visor - it works great there, but only lasts a month or 2 good rains.

Why those 2 brand and not turtlewax? it has been working great for me.
A family member of mine has a newer Škoda rapid with where the glass gets delimited and eaten away by bird poop - and the turtle wax seems to help avoid it.

@dan
How long does it usually hold? It seems Nufinish and Plexus are not sold in Europe.

@G.T. It does hold for a month for ever more. I don’t get much rain so it’s hard to tell…
