Hello,
My 2012 chevy cruze (98k) has a weak ac. It only gets cold when I have been going highway speeds or driving for a while. It doesn’t get very cold at all while idling or at the start of driving. I’ve had the refrigerant changed and even inspected for leaks with that uv dye. What could be the problem? Would anything need to be replaced?

Is the condenser fan working? What are the system pressures?
Idk, when I had it recharged, the guy said everything looked fine. But it just isn’t as cold as it used to be, ya know?
I agree with Chuck - the pressures can be fine, but the symptoms sound exactly like a condenser fan problem - either with the motor or the relay.
