What have you found is the best way (besides pinching) to keep the weather stripping from coming loose and dropping? I have cleaned the surface with denatured alcohol and applied the nasty black glue for weather stripping, but it doesn't do the job.

they shrink and wear out over time. Eventually you just have to buy new ones.
