If it's very cold outside, is it bad to idle your car for 10-20 minutes to warm the engine and interior? What would it do to the engine if you were to let it idle through an entire tank of gas???

The cars in our example are a 2004 Toyota 4Runner V8, a 2011 Nissan Cube, and a 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ.

Thanks Scotty! Much love from Graham and Ben

nothing wrong with that.

Just be careful not to back the car up to a snow bank or something. It may fill up with carbon monoxide inside.

Haha I live in Texas and I warm up my car for a few minutes on "cold" days under 50 degrees

Yeah, we use our seat heaters here in No. TX on a minus 50 degree day. {black}
