1995 Honda Civic 235,800 Miles Automatic, Car is OBD1 but haven't checked for codes.
The video shows it all, I recently replaced my ECU a few weeks back, and had no issues with my older alternator, but my older alternator was failing.
Installed new alternator drove for about 8 hours straight without issue, went to shut the car off, no problems.
Next day I go and start the car, drive maybe 30 minutes, come back home and go to shut it off, and the battery light stays on while the car is completely off, but strangely the light goes away if the car is started.
Didn't have time to try and diagnose last night. Tonight found battery is dead and sitting around 1.35V according to my meter.
24 hours of constant dash light, is this drain because of the light? never had this issue with old alternator, but could be something to do with the junkyard ECU I have?
Battery is sitting on a trickle I cannot test anything without juice.
