I have a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with almost 70k miles on it, got a P0440 and P0456 code couple of months ago, haven't had the time to fix it, now I'm getting a weird jerk when I slow down and the car goes from 2nd gear to 1st gear, can that be a product of the leak affecting the computer changing calibration or could it be something else? Haven't picked up a code for the transmission, still only those two codes, started to happen a couple of weeks ago, before it was running fine.
How many speeds does that gearbox have?
And when’s the last time the ATF was replaced?
It has the 8 speed automatic and the last time the ATF change I probably don't think it has had one since I bought it almost a year ago with 59k miles, thought about changing it with the filter in the last couple of months, am I too late?
