So every once in awhile I shut my car door on my 2015 gmc terrain sle 1 awd and I get a strange noise under the hood on the drivers side that sounds like horses galloping under the hood what is it..
I would add a video of what it sounds like but I don't know how
record a video on your smartphone, upload to Youtube, post a link here.

Could be just about anything. First thing I would look for is leaks, stuff popping when it hits the exhaust manifold. Little drips hanging. Sudden shock of car door makes the drips fall. That’s just one possible thing.
