Weird Tapping Sound After Taking Tires Off And Putting Them Back On

Recently I spent some time cleaning my rims because they were horribly dirty. I spent about two hours doing so and quickly put my wheels back on in a hurry because I needed to head to a job interview. That was about two weeks ago. Just yesterday I started hearing a tapping/clicking noise when I coast and after some further investigation I didn't tighten some of the lugs all the way down, they were loose enough to twist off by hand. The tapping happens only when coasting and goes away when I brake or accelerate. It doesn't make the sound when I'm turning, only while I'm going straight. I went back to tighten the lugs but it's still making the sound. I feel like I definitely screwed up, it sounds expensive. I drive a 2003 Lexus ES300 with 180,000 miles on it, the transmission shifts bad but that's a whole other story. I appreciate any help, thank you.

Well if you didn't have on tight enough it could have wallowed the rims and they're always going to make some noise because they're not going to perfectly fit anymore they'd be walled out but I would say tighten them up and put a little loctite on the threads first take the lug nuts off put loctite on the threads then tighten them up maybe that'll help

Thank you Scotty, I will check that once I get off of work. Is there anyway to get rid of the issue all together or could that be too expensive? Again thank you for any help, I appreciate it.
