I assume that it’s an automatic. Any price for that van? It’s high mileage and I’d strongly suggest you get a trusty mechanic to inspect that van. If the seller refuses, then I’d pass because it’s a high mileage vehicle and there may be some parts that’ll go out and be an expensive fix.

Toyota vans are much better than the Honda Odyssey which had catastrophic transmission failure in the early to late 2000s. Now, because it’s an older car I would make the owner give you the maintenance records, anything over 145,000 miles may be too much of a gamble in terms of how long the car will last. Also I would look for a clean title one to preserve crash integrity.

They can last a really long time if taken care of.
