What’s wrong with my 2013 Honda CR-V?

Hey Scotty and everybody!

2013 Honda crv 95k miles. Automatic transmission.

I bought this car about 8 months ago from a Chevy dealer and after I bought it I noticed it had a horrible oil burning problem. 2 quarts or more for every thousand miles. After complaining enough they replaced it with a engine with 11k miles on it. Problem went away.On the other hand I do notice the transmission on this vehicle might be shifting a little harsh. I'm not an transmission expert but I mean my 99 Toyota sienna shifts smoother than the Honda 🤣 😆 🤣 . Maybe it's just a weak transmission and shifts a bit hard? When I go up the hill into my driveway it feels like the transmission is slamming itself into gear almost. I'm not sure if that's because it's downshifting uphill and that's hard on the transmission? Is that normal? And there were a couple instances where the car was shaking a bit when in gear at complete stop but it went away. And yes I did suspect this car shifted a little rough before getting the engine fixed. I thought maybe the new engine would help. The warranty goes through another year. I was debating on seeing if I can bug the dealer to put a transmission in if it's bad before the warranty goes on or just sell it now. The warranty company does require check engine or transmission lights or proof of internal damage. No lights on the vehicle. What should I do?? I mean I'm not even sure if the transmission is worn or just weak. Thanks for the help. God bless.

David

Have a transmission pro scan the transmission.

That's not normal but considering at the original engine was burning oil I assume the owner drove like a maniac and didn't maintain it I would personally just live with it though cuz the rebuild one of those cost thousands
