What are your thoughts on a new2020 kia sportage
Not a good pick. Korean cars still do not have the quality of their Japanese counterparts.
Have you looked at the Rav4?
@mod_man
Yea but they are bit too expensive. Thanks for the reply tho
Ah I gotcha. No worries. I mean, if you are keeping it 100k miles or less, the Sportage might be ok. They just have problems as they age is all.
@mod_man
And Kia dealerships seem to hide from responsibility. You may end up fighting to warranty work.
And if you don't like Toyota (some people say it is boring, although I don't agree with them), Go for older Lexus RX350 or Acura RDX.
I have a 2009 Sportage with 130k miles and is extremly reliable. These car's can last 200k easily. The problem with your's is that those newer one's have turbo's and GDI and a ton of recalls and the engine's are built wrong. Mine is korean made and hsa a 2.0 BETA engine. Year after year in reliability, Sportage/Tuscon's rank the lowest reliability of all Kia/Hyundai products so......... Consider the Honda CR-V 2019+.
They're boring. Looks like everything else.
