Hi Scotty, what do you think about a 2021 toyota tacoma SR5 4 cylinder engine 2x4. Automatic transmission not 4 wheel drive. This one was still made in San Antonio. Also recommendation is that it only uses 87 octane fuel, my 2019 kia sorento also has same octane. What are your thoughts on this? Can I use 86 or go higher? Thanks.

The fixed the rust problem so the truck is probably fine. Get whatever gas you feel like. There really is no difference for a lower octane car to get a higher octane. Maybe a bit of hp here, a sprinkle or efficiency there, over all, doesn't matter.
