Can you please advise on what brand the lambs wool car mitt Scotty recommends to wash the car with?
Simoniz makes decent car washing stuff. I bought a wool mitt decades ago and it's still going.
I’ve been washing my cars now for the past 5 years using waterless products. One of the best out there and that I use on a regular basis is the WashMist Concentrate you buy (see link below and was developed by a detailing company called EliteFinish), mix with water inside a spray bottle, then spray a vehicle with it and use a high quality microfiber towel (microfiber towels are not all created equal) to wipe down. I ordered direct from EliteFinish and they have been pretty good with delivery. See links and videos below to these products. They are not cheap, but their products are good and really do work.

heh. that car was clean to start with. No way a spray on product is gonna clean the year of dirt off my truck unless you use a few gallons of it.
@imperator It’s good for maintenance. Obviously, if a vehicle is very dirty to begin with what I do is spray it off at one of these Car Wash places: Either drive through a touchless carwash or you can drive up to a stall and use a long “wand” to spray down the car. Afterwards, I use this product for the finishing touches and give a nice clean shine to the overall vehicle. I use the product again once a month or sometimes once every few months. From what I can tell it has some formulation that makes it harder for the dirt to stay on, so as long as you apply it on a regular basis it works fine.

Anyways, the days of the two bucket method for me are long over.
maybe if I had a show car. There's no way I'm applying anything on a regular basis.
