Hi scotty, I have a R33 nissan skyline GTST with 71k miles. The rb25det manual engine. What can cause a stock rev limiter to change to higher rpm?

I also had a 2002 subaru ej205 engine that went to 8000 slowly but surely.

08.1993. I have not changed the ecu to a new 1994 yet or got the money for a haltech unit.

I'm putting a new stock recirculating valve on it soon, and have a new turbo sitting for when i finish with the clutch adjustment issues.
