Hi Scotty,
I have a 07 Grand Marquis GS with 70k in original miles. I"m hoping to keep her for years to come, and my brother encourages me to do so saying it should be the last car I ever have to buy. I'm only 50 by the way. Plugs are original as well as tranny fluid. Any tips to keep her around and support my brother's hypothesis? Thanks.

Be proactive and preventive with maintenance. Don't run to fail. Drive conservatively. Take the car on the highway. Buy top of the line parts. Find a Grand Marquis forum. Live a clean life.
