Hey Scotty love your channel I’ve just turned 16 and am looking for a new car and I would love to hear your Opinion on what car you think would last the longest get the most for my money and run well my choices would be between the 2020 Hyundai Elantra N Line. Or a 2020 Honda Civic Sport sedan or the 2021 Nissan Sentra SR.  And on the more expensive side a Mercedes AMG A 220 sedan

I would get an inexpensive car to drive for couple of years until you've mastered driving. I would not be jumping into a brand no new car with zero experience.

I think a used Honda civic would be good but new ones depresicate a lot and you hve 0 driving experience, so i would reccommend one that is not worth much and that you can beat up and pay a lot less for. My dad got his first brand new car at 53 years old and I am pretty sure scotty only ever bought used cars and he is a mechanic for 53 years and an excellent driver. So stick to a used civic.

Definitely the Civic. Stay FAR away from the Mercedes. AMG models in particular have very high maintenance costs.

Civic >>> Sentra > Elantra

I wouldn’t get a Benz unless you can really afford the maintenance. It cost an arm and a leg to maintain. On top of that, if you are getting an AMG, it would be best to know what you are getting into, and probably not a good first car.

Honda Civic

I'll also add to pick the 2.0 engine if you have the choice over the 1.5 engine.
