Need to thin out our herd, so which should I keep.
2000 Lexus gs300 Platinum editionwife purchased it new has 165,000 at present runs good.
2002 Toyota Highlander 6 cyl AWD 120,000. Inherited from my mother-in-law that purchased it new. Needs valve cover replaced and don’t believe timing belt has ever been changed.
I like to drive the Highlander, but the GS drives like it just came out of the showroom.
Forgot to mention I am keeping 2005 Suburban and 2015 Lexus GX460.
I would honestly keep both. I would never have just one car. If you were to only have one car, and then it broke, where would you be? Stuck.
But, Since you are asking which one, I would keep the Highlander. Them Lexus' are nice, but they don't have as much room as the Highlander. Also, you own some pretty nice looking cars. I were you, I would keep both, but in this case, keep the Highlander.
Both of them are good cars and neither has a reason to be gotten rid of if you like both. I guess you can put them both on criagslist seperately and sell whichever one gets offered more, they both should be around $5000 (where I am).
I personally would probably keep the Lexus as a weekend toy, unless you need the versatility & practicality of an SUV, in which case I would keep the Highlander. It comes down to function, which one you like, and which one you can get more for.
