hey I have a question, my 06 ford mustang gt 4.6, I've replaced the alternator twice and battery and won't run on its own. when it's connected to another vehicle it startup and cables disconnected it'll die.

you probably have bad wiring or burnt out fusible link then.

Are you monitoring the voltage on the battery and alternator?


are you downvoting because you disagree, or your finger slipped?


My finger slipped my bad


I don't have a voltage meter would I have to go get one, don't wanna take it to a shop and spend a bit of money, trying to get it fixed without the hassle


if you don't have wiring diagrams, and the right tools, it will be a hassle.
