I own a 2020 Mazda CX-5 2.5 engine (non-turbo). I change the oil every 5000 miles, I baby the car. The car has 17000 miles on it. Up to this point, no problems . There has been 4 oil changes up to now. As I was driving yesterday, the low oil light came on ???? WHAT!!! I checked the oil plug and filter, no leaks. I put in pennzoil 0W-20W full synthetic oil and an after market oil filter. I only drove 2500 miles on the last oil change. I had to add 3/4 of a quart in. What do you think it is? What should I do, in your opinion ? Thanks

If it's not leaking, it's burning oil.  It should be under warranty and taken in for examination and a compression test.
