What do you think about the new Toyota hybrids compared to their all gas counterparts? Any pros and cons for each. Also the Venza is only offered in a hybrid what do you think because it’s a first year model.
Very reliable for a hybrid Toyota makes the best ones but as they age they tend to be more costly with batteries and generators etc.
Toyota hybrids are very good if you are looking for fuel efficiency and don't really care about performance or sportiness. They've been making hybrids for 20 years now and they've been pretty reliable. The normal gas cars will no doubt last longer - both in terms of age and mileage - and generally have cheaper maintenance/repair bills. But, the hybrids are still a good choice as a commuter car and should reliably last 10+ years.
