What do you think of the 2004 Mazda3 S Automatic Hatchback? It's my first car and I wanted to know if it's worth spending time and money into it.
Thank you.
Hi, I'm a fan of Toyota, Lexus, Honda and Mazda. They make such a reliable cars even to this day.
Congrats on your new car!
I think first cars are always our babies so to speak. You can always spend time and money, as long as you have priorities. If it's in a bad shape, prioritize to bring it to great performance first before the looks. I have friends that they value looks over performance, which is a waste of time and money, especially if a car has a lot of issues.
Just take care of it as much as you can, maintain it always. And really own and love it, so that when you have to spend so much, you'll just think that you want to keep it as long as you can. 🙂
@joshuathemechanicnoob Did you forget how to post ‘Answers’, down below?
Do you want a project car?
They are OK. Can't say they are particularly good but if you didn't pay much and has low miles it should last you a while. Have fun with it.
I wouldn't put any real money into it, definitely nothing like a 'new' engine or transmission.
