I have a 2013 Honda Pilot that came back with the code B1245 -AMD(Rr) motor Potentiometer Shorted. It has approximately 80,000 miles on it. The battery is new, since improper voltage from bad batteries can skew various systems. What does it mean? Is it something with the rear AC system?

This code is related to BCM and I assume it did not not trick the check engine light to come on. It's basically related to the rear temperature controls. Do you have issues with the rear temperature control? If so, check the actuator for the blend door, and if you do not have issues, just ignore it.
