Love your show! I want to buy a new 15 passenger Ford Transit van for doing tours. They come with a few different engine choices. I was wondering which engine do you recommend for this van? Or if there is a 15 passenger van other than Ford that you recommend more than Fords.
Well, you probably don't want a diesel engine as you don't really need it plus more expensive gas. I've heard the cabin on models with the 3.7L V6 are loud so that one is out so that leaves you with the 3.5L V6. Also, the acceleration between all of them is best on the 3.5L V6 so it would be better with merging on the highway. Also depending on where you live you might have an option for a 1.5L and 2.5L I4 but if that's available where you live I wouldn't recommend them, smaller engines in a fair-sized van.

Scotty has said multiple times that he don't like the ecoboost turbo engines, they don't last. Many repair shop also say that they come in for repair often. I need a reliable loooong lasting engine. If Toyota made a 15 passenger van I'd buy it but I don't think they do. So I wonder which engine Scotty would pick???
