I have a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser with 200,000 miles on it. The instrument cluster will not work when the radio is connected. The instrument cluster works when I disconnect the radio. The radio will work if I remove the instrument cluster fuse. There are no codes. What is causing that? I have heard that the instrument cluster and the radio is on the same circuit. Where can I find a wiring diagram for the circuit? It would be nice if I could have the instrument cluster and the radio working both at the same time. Can I wire the radio on a new fuse so that it isn't on the same circuit with the instrument cluster?
There are no codes.
There are no "codes" for that kind of problem.
What is causing that?
Short circuit. Bad grounds. Failed components.
I have heard that the instrument cluster and the radio is on the same circuit.
Where did you hear that? Have you confirmed it by checking to see if they are on the same fuse?
Where can I find a wiring diagram for the circuit?

@chucktobias My Uncle looked at it and couldn't figure out why it was doing that and he told me that they are on the same circuit. The radio has a fuse and the instrument cluster has a fuse. The instrument cluster works if I take the fuse out for the radio. The radio will work if I take the fuse out for the instrument cluster.
Sounds like a bad ground
The radio has a fuse and the instrument cluster has a fuse. The instrument cluster works if I take the fuse out for the radio. The radio will work if I take the fuse out for the instrument cluster.
This means the circuit is overloaded.
