Hi Scotty, 85% of Ford Australia sales are Ranger and the rest are a selection of models almost no one wants! Hard to believe that a major player like Ford can’t source vehicles that Aussies want to buy! They only need a hiccup in Ranger sales and Ford Australia will be gone, like you said about Honda Australia, these big companies don’t care about a small market! But Toyota have numerous best selling models here and 25% market share, shows how different these companies are.
Well unfortunately the world sees Australia as a small market that they don't seem to care much about. The Holden plant which is basically GM shut down a short time ago. Companies are looking at strategies to make more profit where they sell the most cars and can build them the cheapest so they left you guys out in Australia. But what the heck I personally have been driving Toyota's in Lexus for the last 30 years so there's still Toyota's there
