From what I have heard and seen, the 5th Gen. 6th Gen Camaros seem to have more transmission/engine issues.

6th gen, assembled middle Feb 2019 or newer ! After this date, you get the "fixed" drivetrain components. Or so GM says.

You say you like the 6.2L V8 ? Hard to find. Forget auto trans, disable cylinder shutdown. And get ready to pay big bucks !

Still has lot of nit-picky issues, absolutely doesn't like snow, hard to service/maintain but a blast to drive. 

But as some say, you don't drive this car, you wear it !

And yes, they really are on the chopping block. Last production not determined yet, may depend on when parts production line parts run out or maybe even when orders drop below cutoff level.
