Hi,
I bought a brand new 2023 4Runner.
When I start the engine for the first time of the day or after work after the car has been sitting there for 8 hours, the idle speed starts at 1700 RPM and then drops down below 1000 RPM after it warms up.
It seems a bit too high to start at 1700 RPM instead of around 1400 RPM.
Should I be concerned and take it to the dealer?

Yes, that is too high but I doubt if they'll do anything about it but you never know. It should not be revving that eye
