I got a Hyundai Accent 2008, Im a big fan of scottty and felt empowered to start fixing my car after getting ripped off a couple of times.

I already replaced the valve cover for a new one since when I changed the gasket, when I was getting the bolts tight, the cover broke.

Not leaking anymore but there is a leak in the part that I want to show. I can't find where to upload a picture. Also is it alright to use the 3M Black super weatherstrip and gasket adhesive?

Use a gasket maker or gasket sealer that's made for the job.  Weather strip adhesive was never made for sealing gaskets.  When I do valve cover gaskets, I put a couple of dabs of Permatex part 2B on the valve cover to hold the gasket in place while positioning it.

Never use 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive as a gasket sealer.  You will be sorry.

what kind of adhesive can I use? I mean I saw Scotty use it to hold the gasket to a valve cover in one of his videos, I didn't mean to use it as a replacement.
