I have a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS. The owner's manual recommends premium unleaded fuel but says that I may use regular fuel at a reduced acceleration performance too. When I use premium gas, I get a much better mpg though. The fuel pump says that it contains 5% of ethanol only while regular is up to 10% of ethanol.

Use the premium, unleaded.

I get a much better mpg though
enough to justify the extra cost of premium? Do the math.
