Audi wiper blades off track, stuck or moving arm system? Thanks

  • I have an Audi and I hit the windshield wipers by accident on full speed then turned them off quickly and they went off track, I unscrew the metal connection and they say to press down and lift and they won't come off, I'm hoping it's not the rotating arm that makes the blades move, and obviously Audi wants an arm an a leg just to look at it when I'm sure I can fix it like many other little stupid things I had to fix., What my best options to get the metal blades off and should I look for anything else in the process? Thanks

You see how easy it was for him to press down and pop up, I soaked them in dd40 and they don't even budge, I wish it was that easy, it might be off the thread's it's supposed to be lined up with but I can slide them up and down physically, but I just can't get them off to see if there's another issue.

I'll take a video tomm mourn and show you what I mean, besides that no other issues. I baby it and put all the proper liquids in it just like you say and she runs pretty damn good, the glass is so clear in front I can still see when it rains, I couldn't do that with my Lincoln LS ,but obviously it needs to be fix, thanks again buddy, I appreciate your services to the world. God bless you.
