Thinking about getting a car soon and so far I’m not sure which Honda Civic has good engines in them I heard 4cyl engines are good but I’m not sure still
All the new Honda Civics are very good cars. Honda seems to have addressed the oil dilution issues in the 1.5L turbo engines for 2019+. But if you want to be cautious, I would still recommend sticking with the naturally aspirated 2.0L 4 cylinder engine - these will give you the longest life. You can get this engine in 2016+ Civic LX and Civic Sport models. The CVTs have also been reliable if you don't want to get the manual. With that said, if you do opt for the 1.5L turbo engine just make sure you meticulously change the oil more frequently.
Ok, so the 2010-2011, 2013-2015 are very reliable used years the auto trannys are good and the engines are bulletproof. The newer ones with the 2.0 Naturally Aspirated engine are also pretty good. Avoid the 2001-2002 2006-2009, 2012 years.
