About 3 months back I swap my Toyota Vitz 1KrFe (1000cc) 2012 Japan head assembly due to oil consumption issue. I poured 5w30 liqui moly and about running 4100km out of 915km on highway drive I suppose to add half of litre oil to keep oil level full. Kindly guide me as I do not know the mileage of engine shall I use same grade in future or increase grade e.g 10w30 or 5w40. Kindly do guide me as there are many blogs I view claim this engine have manufacturing fault that after certain mileage it start consuming oil.
Stick to what the manufacturer recommends.

What does your owner’s manual recommend? I’d stick it with it, but change your oil religiously, every 5000kms.
Is it still consuming oil after the rebuild?
Dear thanks for your kind reply. Well I haven’t rebuild my engine rather I purchase used engine without gear box from junk yard in our region.
