Hey Scotty love your channel keep up the work, I recently bought a 1986 Datsun 300zx 5 speed manual with 157k miles, flushed the oil and radiator and filled it with new, did a brake job and overall runs fine, what should I do or keep an eye out for to keep it running as best as possible?
Timing belt. It is an interference engine and likely hasn't been changed. There is also a old recall on the fuel injectors for these and if it hasn't been done is a fire hazard.
This website is very helpful.

I have a 88 300zx with over 300k miles. It was the first car I ever bought and has run pretty much perfect. I changed the clutch and flywheel about 20k miles ago. Its still drivable but has low compression on one cylinder. Will still roast the tires though.
