Hey everyone,
My wife has a 2011 Honda Insight with 177k Miles and so far it has been a great commuter car for her on her long drives to work. She bought the car with about 150k miles, 3 years ago or so, and the transmission has not been serviced in that time and there is no record of the transmission being serviced before she bought it. I'm afraid that the fluid has been in there for a long time and that if I drain and fill the transmission, it may start slipping. The transmission dipstick shows there is about 1/2 to 2/3 of the fluid when I check it hot, should I just top it off, or should I service it completely? The car is still running great thankfully, I just want to keep it that way.
Thanks!
