Scotty; Thank's for offering this priceless opportunity! My Project car is a 07 Lexus IS350 with Auto Transmission currently 145K miles. I have matictuoiusly maintained this vehicle but never changed the Transmission fluid. Ive had it over three years and acquired it with 98K with all Lexus service records. Im considering having a transmission professional dropping the transmission pan and changing the filter/screen and replacing only the WS fluid i remove. I'm not currently experiencing any problems that I know of. It shifts fine and is not making any noise. This is where the professional opinions cross and why I need help making my decision to do this maintenance. 40% say don't touch it. 60% say it's not life time and needs to be done... what are your thoughts. My thoughts are... better late then never. Introducing new WS fluid would be a good thing in the long run. I understand the importance of leaving it alone too...? Help me decide what to do!!! PLEASE
Note: This is not a stock car. Its Rolling on Vossen C2V 20 in wheels lowered with BCOILOVERS with upgraded swift springs. SPC Adjustable upper ball joints and rear SPC adjustable arms Megan Racing front and rear swaybars. All lights have been replaced with LED lights. Michelin pilot sport 4s and RR-RACING big brake packages. It's not a track car lol. It's a "Daily project car"
