Scotty, I’m stuck in a rock and a hard place. I love my 99 ranger. A awesome blue, never ran it hard, but early August reverse went out, I put in a junkyard tranny, big mistake and I knew better, and now my engine is burning coolant, and I’m still without a transmission, I know all good things must come to an end, but it’s my first vehicle and we’ve been together for a little over a year, and I love more than anything. What should I do? Thank you for the opinion

Unfortunately a 24-year-old Ranger is just not worth the cost of installing an engine and a transmission. Time to look for something else.
