Hi Scotty I have a 2008 jeep liberty A/T with the 3.7 V6 and 130,000 miles. Its burning about 1 quart ever 1000 miles. Is the problem going to get worse overtime and is the car worth keeping.

It's certainly not going to get better as the engine continues to wear out. Ultimately it is not worth keeping. A rebuilt engine will cost more than the vehicle is worth, and then the transmission will probably crater on you. However, you could elect to just keep running it this way until it gets really bad or stops running. (Note that many manufacturers consider using 1 quart every 1000 miles "normal" for warranty purposes.)

Yes....Time to tap out before it does.
