Hey Scotty. I have a 2002 model Volkswagen Kombi. After years of watching your videos on youtube I know your opinion about german cars. We have a problem with the cranck pulley (hormonic balancer). The rubber has come out. We tried to buy a new one but is to expensive. Is there a way we could fix it?
Also love your videos 🙂

now see if a company like dorman makes aftermarket ones those are made with the rubber inside to make less noise but you can never fix them I attempted to remove rubber on one and welded together but it's impossible to weld it perfectly evenly so then the pulley will wobble like mad which is bad or you can always try to junkyard or used one

Can't be fixed, replace only.
