What should I do

I’ve got a 07 camry v6 with 180k miles and am getting the code p0606 for the ecm processor fault. We recently had to change the transmission. It would slip between 2nd and 3rd gear whenever it was cold. We also just had to recalibrate the passenger seat sensor for the airbag system. Could either of these be caused by the ecm glitching out? I know from what I’ve researched that the ecm on this generation camry controls the transmission, abs, airbags, etc. should I replace the ecm, check for shorts/corrosion, or should I just live with it? It runs smooth and there’s no sign of any problems just the mil light on.

If the ECM were to become damaged or faulty, then it could spell trouble for the entire engine because it would not be managed properly. If the engine is not managed properly, then it is not going to operate properly and then your car won't work properly.
