hi i will be moving to the philippines in april and i am wanting to buy a used pu truck such as a ford ranger or a nissan and i am debating to go gas or disel .what would you advise and if disel what should i check before buying . thank you {black}:idontknow:
I would look into a Toyota diesel whether its the Toyota Pickup or Hilux whatever you have there. I heard Nissan trucks were decent as well especially with a diesel manual combo.

Toyota Hilux would be perfect IMO.
From what I know, small diesel pickup trucks are popular in Asia (not sure about the Philippines specifically). I would say do some research about parts availability and what type of fuel is more common/cheaper at the place you will be living at. I believe diesel is cheaper in Asia, so it might be a good idea to go with that. Between the trucks you mentioned, I would do for the Nissan pickup. Also consider a Toyota Hilux - I know those come in diesel in Asia (not sure about the Ranger or the Nissan)
