2016 hyundai sonata, 73.000 miles losing a qt of oil every 2 weeks. Causing the vehicle not to accelerate. scanner says code p0011. put 1 qt of oil code goes away and the vehicle accelerates when driven. vehicle takes 5w20 synthetic oil

The 2.4 L Sonatas were equipped with the infamous Theta II engines. (You know, the ones that Scotty says "blow up.") Scotty's words were NOT hyperbole. A year ago, a class action settlement was reached.

Unfortunately, the claims deadline closed in August. I'm with InThrustWeTrust. Get rid of the thing.
