What to do about peeling paint?

I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma with about 121k miles on it and have the super white (0P0) paint code. From what I've been reading online, Toyota is not including the Tacoma in the paint recall for some reason. What do I do or who do I talk to? I have paint peeling to the bare metal on both rear doors and on the driver's side of the hood and on the front fenders on the sides near the hood that you can barely see, but is noticeable when you open the hood. I took it to where I bought the truck and they just used a paint matching pen to fix the issue since their paint guy wasn't there that day.

I also took the truck to a shop where my work gets their vehicles repaired and maintained, and they quoted me $400 per door, $300 for the fenders, and $500 for the hood.

I would contact Toyota and complain now Toyota won't do anything about it if you're anywhere near Clarksville I would make a nice video shame in Toyota and the fixing it for free

Hey Scotty! I actually got off the phone with them a few minutes ago and the woman I spoke with said it was not apart of the paint recall along with the other Toyota vehicles. So I would have to pay out of pocket to get it fixed.

I would definitely come over to Clarksville for you to make a video about it. I am about 7 hours away in North Carolina.

I can drop on by next week whenever is convenient for you! Just let me know.

@James_Shuman Scotty does not reply back to follow up questions within a thread. To set up an appointment with Scotty, send an email to scottykilmer@gmail.com with the subject “Repair Appointment: Clarksville”. Be patient as Scotty gets tons of emails and appointments - he is a very popular mechanic. He is also going to Rhode Island soon for a few months and won’t be back till December, but hopefully he can fit you in before he leaves.

@DayWalker Thanks for the information. I know he is a very busy and popular person, I mean 4.56 million subscribers is a lot. I didn't know he was going to Rhode Island soon. Thanks for the heads up!

Sent an email him just now
