Hey Scotty, I have a 2013 ford escape SEL 2.0L Turbo 4WD with about 142,500 miles on it. The transmission just started to slip, and it may be dangerous to drive it like that. I'm already looking to purchase another car. Everything in the car works very well, it's just the transmission that went bad. What can I do with the car now? Or in other words, how can I get rid of it and get as much money as possible?
Are you sure it's not just low on fluid?
No one is going to give you top dollar for a vehicle with a slipping automatic transmission. You could see what Carvana will give you for it to get an idea of what it's worth.
It might be low on fluid. Since I bought it with 100k miles, the fluid was never changed. I will try to see what carvana says. Thanks!
