What's the best affordable oil for 2000 Toyota Echo?

Got a 2000 Toyota Echo with 103,000 miles.  What's the best affordable ( 5w 30) oil for it?  I had another 2000 Echo with 83,000 miles and I used NAPA synthetic blend.  Is there a better oil out there that I should be using?  I would appreciate any good brand names.  Oil change coming up next week.  Thanks

Any oil that satisfies the manufacturers grade and weight requirements AND is on sale.

I usually get whatever name brand is on sale at Costco or AutoZone.

My preferred brand overall is Castrol. It’s what I grew up with. But any of the big name brands are good, just as long as you stick to the correct viscosity.

I have found that Wal-Mart has the best prices on oil. (Probably places like Costco and Sam's Club do as well.) There's nothing wrong with WalMart's SuperTech house brand though it's usually only a few dollars cheaper than the leading brands which are also sold there.
