Hello! I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS with an automatic transmission with 98k miles. When I am at a stoplight it vibrates like crazy. I have no codes however I did notice it runs slightly lean but that is about it. When I am idling in drive it is around 4-5 hundred RPMs and when it is in park it idling around 6-7 hundred. One thing I also noticed, when the engine is cold it tends to idle just fine but as soon as it gets to operating temperature it idles like crap. When I turn on the AC or headlights it vibrates even more. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue? Thank you!
Well if it is fine cold but I was weird when it's warmed up. One of two things is wrong either. The engine is idling too low when the engine is warmed up. Or you need to do some cleaning as in my video how to make your car run better with a little spray cleaners Scotty realize that when the engine is cold, the computer automatically idles it up a little bit higher and once that system shuts off it goes to the normal idling system and in your case is idling too low
