What's the maximum amount of miles on a Toyota Corolla that would be worth buying?
The key is impeccable service history. If it was well maintained and cared for then even at 100,000 miles I would not worry. But where’s the proof and can you trust the seller? Was the vehicle driven hard and beat? How would you really know? That’s the problem. Even then you should expect to pay more for repairs and such from higher mileage since invariably things still wear out.
.
If you can purchase from an old lady, that would be ideal.
old ladies are the worst drivers, lol
All depends on how much you’re willing to pay, how many miles you drive a year, and how long you plan on keeping the car. Also if it was all highway mileage it’s got significantly less wear than city driving. Yes, Corollas last a long time if taken care of but I would say 300k would be a good cutoff unless you can get it for cheap, or if it’s 300k but fairly new then you know it’s for sure all highway miles. Mileage is just one factor to consider when buying a used car however. If a mechanic checks it out to be ok it can still be a good car despite high mileage.
depends on your budget and intended use. I don't buy anything with more than 60k for daily driving.
